In retirement, Michael was looking to learn some new skills.  With some of his own material and a few ideas, he came to the studio ready to create.  After learning about designing and pattern making, he drew up his design, created these two beautiful knife sheaths, a leather bag and a pair of moccasins for his wife!

Chaya spent a class learning about different medal working techniques and was inspired by some of the material she found in the shop.  She composed this pin with several different antique part and together we went through the process of attaching and assembling the pin and backing.  Chaya learned several different cold connection techniques and soldering throughout the process and left the class with her own high end broach!

Carley selected bicycle gear from our collection of metal parts along with a amethyst crystal to be cut to fit inside the gear.  Carley learned the process of stone cutting, prong setting and soldering through fabricating her own belt buckle.  She also made a custom belt to go along with the belt.
